This motocross bike was bought unseen off ebay, as a replacement for the trainee shedologists KX80, which he has out grown. What with so many other projects on the go I have only recently managed to replace the throttle cable, a made up a new one from parts supplied as a kit, my first cable by the way. It still suffers a leaking front fork, but that can wait a while.
Once I got the bike running it soon became evident that there is a fault with first gear, it sounds as though it isn't properly engaging. This doesn't prevent me riding it, but does make it somewhat awkward. And what with so many other projects queing, I haven't taken the time to investigate this problem any further.
