Very much a work horse, the 109" pick-up truck was bought as a utility vehicle when the Yeti Monster went off the road due to a rotten chassis.

It proved most valuable when relocating my workshop to the BIG shed, towing up the old Yeti rolling chassis, the new Yeti rolling chassis and ferrying all my workshop tools and equipment.

Sadly the chassis on the pick-up proved to be terminally rotten and so this too had to come out of road use, it is however likely to be put into service as a farm vehicle if the FFR gets sold, it would also be good for the kids to gain experience in driving.

At present it is without a carburetter, as I had to transplant the weber onto the FFR for MOT purposes, it does appear that the pick-up is doomed to become a doner vehicle. It has a very good 2-1/4 Litre petrol engine, strong transmission (although it does jump out of 1st gear due to a sticky detent) and the axles and props have given no hint of immenent failure. I will attempt to replace parts that are scavenged from it, but they are a low priority just now.
