A must for any Series Land Rover, and especially for ExMOD ones, is a Sankey Trailer.
I purchased mine from a fellow OLLR member who is based in Rotherham. A nice bright day, and a trip over Woodhead to collect the trailer, returning via the Snake Pass, was, in itself, well worthwhile.
The Nato socket required rewiring, which didn't take too long, and a jockey wheel was fitted to aid manual manouvering.
The trailer has already been used about the property, to assist in removing the junk from the garden shed, which is to become the new location of the Hard-Luck cafe.
Its first serious outing was to collect a "hot-tub" mould, partially cast tub, glass fibre matting, acrylic resins and associated pumps etc. for "project hot-tub", which is set to be a feature of the "secret garden".
Also, the spaccy little tyres (SLTs) have been changed in favour of "hetro" wheels/tyres to match those of the FFR.
Recently, at the Leafers at t'pit rally, a nice, old and tatty canvas cover was found. Once re-roped and patched, this should finish the look of the truck/trailer combination.
